Title: Dynamics near connecting orbits in reversible systems Speaker: Juergen Knobloch, Ilmenau We consider reversible systems $\dot x=f(x,\lambda)$ having for $\lambda=0$ a degenerate homoclinic orbit $\Gamma$ asymptotic to a hyperbolic fixed point. By means of Lin`s method we study the dynamics near $\Gamma$. We prove the existence and non-existence, respectively, of N-periodic orbits, N-homoclinic orbits and orbits related to shift dynamics.
