Automorphic forms for congruence subgroups of SL_2(Z) and Hecke operators have very little to do with the above picture. Is the G-word-site clever enough to realise this? I think not but let's find out (26/11/09). Actually it turns out that it was. Let's try again (tinkered 11/11/10).
